Daisy Cottage is located in the picturesque Churnet Valley in the village of Cheddleton in the Staffordshire Moorlands.    Alton Towers is only 12 miles away and we are on the doorstep of the beautiful Peak District.
 
Our accommodation consists of a living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen, downstairs bathroom, 2 double bedrooms, loft room with twin zip and link beds and stunning views of the canal and valley. Free view satalite TV/radio stations and multi fuel fire with initial fuel supplied. Linen and towels provided. No Smoking rule inside the property and no pets.
 
Enjoy the beautiful garden which meets the Caldon Canal and watch the narrow boats passing by whislt relaxing and absorbing the tranquility.  Situated just accross the road from The Boat Inn where you can mingle with the locals and holiday makers alike.  Fresh home cooked food and real ales available at reasonable prices 7 days per week.  Churnet Valley Railway Museum is just 200 yards away where you can take a ride on a Steam Train and take in the picturesque scenery on the way or enjoy a meal on board one of the Restaurent cars which operate on various evenings throughout the year (booking essential - visit www.churnet-valley-railway.co.uk for further information).
 
As the garden adjoins the Caldon Canal, why not bring along your fishing rod and sit in the summer house whiling away the hours.
 
The antique centre and market town of Leek is just 4 miles away, the Spa town of Buxton just 16 miles.  Visit the agricultural market at Bakewell which is only 22 miles away.
